We would like to welcome you to the Windsong Dojo Family.

Congratulations on making a excellent choice for quality training that can affect your entire life.

At Windsong Dojo we are committed to practices and traditions that are based firmly on the established Budo principles “Jita Kyoei” (you, me, shine together, i.e. mutual welfare and benefit), “Seiryoku Zenyo” (best use of energy, i.e. maximum efficiency with minimum effort).

By joining the dojo and joining us on the path you have made an important step toward the realization of your own highest human potentials.

It should be understood that Windsong Dojo is a non-profit foundation, and not a commercial business in the usual sense. All Budo instruction offered at the dojo is given freely, passed on from teacher to student—not sold as a service or product.

The teacher/student relationship is our primary concern, and money will never be the central interest of our relationship. Our goal is to share in training and learning in Budo; to grow in positive and principled ways with one another, not to reap a profit or make a quick buck.

There are no due dates and members pay on the honor system. At the same time, the realities of the world demand that we pay the creditors and bill collectors, and to do so we must carry out our financial responsibilities in as much a professional and business-like manner as possible.

Please help us by doing your part in supporting the dojo in a timely manner, and please give us notification if you must withdraw and leave the dojo. The only contracts we have are in the form of our shared commitment to practice, learn and grow together.

If you have any questions, need to make any sort of special arrangements, or an issue with your bill, please do not hesitate to contact us.
