Chen Tai Chi Intro Workshop

Chen-style is the oldest historically attested style of taijiquan (tai chi), and as such, retains more emphasis on its martial origins than styles you might be more familiar with. Even modern competitive martial artists like UFC champion Zhang Weili train in Chen-style tai chi because of its ability to enhance full-body coordination for generating explosive power.

In this two-day workshop, you will learn the basics of the Chen family gongfu frame in the tradition of Chen Zhaokui, including foundational postural exercises, forms, and push-hands.
