In
harmony with the devotion to "maximum efficiency,"
the founder of modern Judo, Dr. Jigoro Kano also strove to
uphold an ideal of "mutual benefit." Where many
schools both in Japan and in America have earned a nasty reputation
concerning harsh teaching methods and high injury rates, at
Windsong, we agree with Mr. Kano's vision, and believe in
taking care of and responsibility for our partners, their
safety, and their well-being. How can anything be learned
when a classmate is only interested in doing harm or injury
for their own gain? Or vice versa?
Our judo program welcomes men and women, and accommodate both
the recreational and competition player.
