Tai Chi
It's a good time to start Tai Chi! Learn a new way to exercise and relax at the same time. Tai Chi is a perfect stress management program for your stressful life. Do you have Arthritis or Balance Disorder? Then Tai Chi might be for you. Tai Chi is suitable for all generations & body types.

This is a class for those who want to learn a shortened version of Tai Chi Chuan Form 24. This style of Tai Chi was created in the 1950's and is currently one of the most popular styles of Tai Chi Chuan. It is short and easy to learn and is ideal for those with limited time. This is an ongoing class and students may join at any time.

Each class is 1 hour each and costs $7.00 a class. Pay as you attend class. Classes are on Thursdays at 6:30pm.

Zen Practice
with Nick Lowry

Zen meditation in the tradition of Joshu Sasaki Roshi (the oldest living zen master in the West). Includes instruction and practice of chanting, sitting walking and ending tea meditations. Led by Nick Lowry. All are welcome and will meet Sundays from 6:30 pm to 8:35 pm.

Introduction to Western Zen
with Nick Lowry

This class will be geared toward beginners and include instruction on sitting meditation and learning how Zen practice and the awakened mind that the practice fosters can integrate into modern Western culture. Together we will explore the nuts and bolts of the meditation practice tradition with an eye toward its relevance in 21st century American life.
